Chuck Wicks
Creator
Chuck Wicks first burst onto the country music scene in 2007 with his debut single “Stealing Cinderella,” which became the highest debut that year for a new country artist. Since then, he’s carved out an impressive and multifaceted career. With six Billboard Top 40 country hits to his name, Wicks has proven himself as more than just a hitmaker — he’s a true entertainment force. He served as co-host of the nationally syndicated radio show Ty, Kelly and Chuck, a two-time ACM-nominated program, and showcased his adventurous spirit as a frequent guest on the Outdoor Channel. Wicks also danced his way into the national spotlight as a contestant on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. Never one to slow down, Wicks is the creator, writer, and producer behind Nashville’s #1 hit residency show Shiners — a dazzling Cirque-meets-comedy experience lighting up downtown Wednesday through Saturday. Expanding his entrepreneurial portfolio, Wicks recently launched Melorosa Wine alongside his wife and brother-in-law, country superstar Jason Aldean — further proving that whether he’s on stage, on air, or in business, Chuck Wicks leaves his mark wherever he goes.

NappyTabs
Director & Co-producer
Married director/choreographer duo Tabitha and Napoleon, commonly referred to as NappyTabs, are two-time Emmy winners (2011 and 2014) for Outstanding Choreography on So You Think You Can Dance. They have a total of four Emmy nominations, the World of Dance Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2014 Industry Innovator’s Award, and two MTV VMA Awards. Tabitha and Napoleon grew up on opposite coasts and met as students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In 2008, they became familiar to mainstream audiences as innovative choreographers on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance, where they were responsible for creating a new dance style known as “Lyrical Hip Hop.” That same year, NappyTabs became the driving creative force behind MTV’s hit show America’s Best Dance Crew. Over the years the duo have worked with top music artists including Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, Madonna, Pitbull, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran, Prince, Carrie Underwood, Celine Dion, Keith Urban, Calvin Harris, 50 Cent, Ricky Martin and Mariah Carey. NappyTabs have been active with Cirque du Soleil, working on several productions including The Beatles LOVE, Mystère, KÀ, Iris, Viva Elvis and Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour.

Katy Tate
Choreographer & Assistant Director
Katy Tate is a creative producer, choreographer and master teacher whose deep love for the cyclical learning experience received through sharing dance is what drives her. From traveling to studios across the globe and harnessing the energy of a packed convention room of dancers, to one-on-one solo exploration, the love of creation and learning is still the most exciting thing in her career. Her recent commercial credits include Assistant Director for the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show with Jennifer Lopez and Lopez’s 2019 “It’s My Party” tour. For seven years she served as Dance Master at The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil, as well as working on Mystère, Zumanity, O and La Nouba. Katy is simply a lover of the gift of dance. The experience she creates in the classroom allows you to discover yourself and your connections to each other, and to find abandonment and vulnerability: class is not solely about growing in your craft, but about walking out of the studio feeling your evolution as a human. Katy encourages you to examine yourself, your strengths and weaknesses, and learn to view them all as benefits. The conditioning of the mind and heart is just as imperative as that of the body in dance. For Katy, there is nothing greater than building an energy in a room that creates the safety for everyone to witness someone’s breakthrough, maybe even your own.

Production Designer
Kley’s vibrant use of light and color in his designs can be seen on stage and screen. His television work includes Hall of Villains, Remix Dance Party, and Holidays Unwrapped for the Disney Channel, in addition to Premios Lo Nuestro and Premios Juventud for Univision and the Latin Grammy Awards, for which he won a Telly Award. Kley was also awarded the 2020 LiveDesign Design Achievement Award.
